Final Tournament For South Junior High School Freshmen

The final basketball tournament of the year for the South Junior High ninth graders is taking place this week. The annual War Hawk Invitational, hosted by West Junior High School, apparantly is a big deal. South is looking for just its second tournament title in the history of the event (won in 2000). South is the top seed and defeated Blue Valley Northwest in the opening round Monday night. Stats and details to follow on Tuesday.
